First UNSTAW-Embassy in the USA
UNSTAW hat nun seine ersten Botschafter in den USA:
Jesssica Brown und Brent Mitchell aus Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts waren im Sommer 2008 in St. Andrä-Wördern zu Besuch.
Eh klar, dass ihnen UNSTAW nicht entgangen ist.
Per Email kam dann folgende Nachricht:
"Thank you for the video, pictures and bumper sticker you sent us. We are finally sending the pictures you requested, of your sticker on a vehicle with American license tags. It took so long because Jessica and I had to arm-wrestle over whose vehicle we would stick it on, and she demanded rematches until she won the honor.
I made a reference to UNSTAW during a presentation I made recently about cultural landscapes. It helped me make a point that cultural attachments to place to not have to be old to be valid, and of course the power of food to bring people together!
